Deklan is the only licensed stallion standing in the US by Dauphin who was bred by Maxine Mickel in Germany. After his licensing, Dauphin was invited to join the 49 state-owned stallions for their 11 months training and testing at Adelheidsdorf, where he finished overall 10th, and 4th in Dressage with a score of 125.13.
Since completing his performance test he has been leased by the Hanoverian State Stud in Celle, and is known for producing typey, modern foals with especially good walk and canter. Dauphin is listed in the 2009 German Hanoverian Stallion Book (Hannoveraner Jahrbuch Hengst 2009) in the "Topliste" of producers for Dressage with 126 point breeding value; 131 for Type (Reitpferdepoints); and 141 for Foundation and Correctness (Fundament). His integrated FN value in dressage is 150.
Dauphin's sire is the legendary Donnerhall - "Stallion of the Century". Deklan' s dam, EM Papagena was Champion Filly and Champion Young Horse at Devon in 1994; and in 1995 she was Young Horse Champion and Reserve Grand Champion, PVDA. She was also the Champion Mare at her Hanoverian Inspection. Her sire, Pablo, was the Champion of his licensing and Reserve Champion of his 100 Days Stallion Testing.
Deklan has had limited showing, but we can report the following achievements:

Deklan is a beautiful, modern type with an exceptional canter and has demonstrated very good character and rideability.
